Who holds the duty of care

Directors carry the legal duties of care, loyalty, and obedience under the Texas Business Organizations Code. Each seat is unpaid, term-limited, and subject to an annual conflict of interest disclosure.

Paul Sedillo is a technology leader, entrepreneur, and social impact strategist based in Austin, Texas. As the Founder and Executive Director of Yard Reboot Project, Inc., he leads a 501(c)(3) public charity and earned-income social enterprise committed to protecting housing security and neighborhood dignity across Central Texas.

The organization provides 100% free lawn care, hazardous brush clearance, municipal citation abatement, and accessible native garden installations for low-income seniors, disabled military veterans, and mobility-impaired homeowners.

With more than three decades of experience driving enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, and strategic partnerships, Paul pairs operational discipline with mission-driven innovation. To solve the persistent funding instability common to traditional charity models, he engineered Yard Reboot Project around an earned-revenue dual-engine framework: high-margin commercial and residential grounds maintenance contracts, combined with monetized digital storytelling, directly cross-subsidize free community relief at zero expense to families or taxpayers.

Under his direction, the nonprofit works directly alongside municipal code compliance teams and veteran support networks to divert punitive daily fines, eliminate property liens, and keep vulnerable residents safely in their homes. Beyond direct hazard mitigation, Paul’s stewardship philosophy emphasizes long-term environmental and community resilience. He integrates water-wise xeriscaping, drought-tolerant Texas native pollinator pockets, zero-waste biomass recycling, and waist-high raised garden beds into neighborhood projects, turning physical liabilities into accessible, regenerative ecological assets.

Through transparent leadership, strategic cross-sector alliances, and cinematic media production, Paul is pioneering a scalable blueprint for civic care and urban land stewardship.
